Counseling Techniques

I work hard to create a safe place where people can let down their walls and be vulnerable to their own thoughts and feelings. I use a blended variety of counseling modalities depending on each individual's needs. The types of therapy I incorporate in session with you may include:

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)

Somatic Experiencing

Mindfulness Training 

Outdoor activities and nature inspired therapy

 Creative processing


I believe that everyone innately knows what is best for them, but that knowledge sometimes gets lost by our personal experiences. It is my job to help you find that knowledge and help ypu learn how to listen to it in the present and future.
